For what it's worth: Being able to pull off a good image/animation in only black & while (or gray-scales) 'is' harder than just using colors. Maybe you're not there, yet. Practice makes perfect.
On the other hand... and I am _not_ saying this to annoy you... The reviewers might have had 'other' issues with your work as well. I just watched 'The image series: roasted' and I rated it zero stars. Aside from the assault on my ears, it has no real "animation" to speak of and the "story" is "not exactly gripping", to put it politely. It's the kind of submission I would normally not even give feedback to and I cannot imagine that this new submission of your will find a fanbase.
Maybe look up a few tutorials. Then think of something 'you' would actively search for on Newgrounds and try to animate 'that' instead.
thanks for that comment i really needed that i know that the image series is just images but its just something i did for fun i did get alot of views on it on yt and tiktok i just made it for fun lol but thanks for this comment maybe i will upload my old animations with color maybe

well uhh not really since some of my animations were black and white and people were saying to make it in color and i didnt like that so alot of other things happened and i deleted my old account and i want to try again
